Boxes, custom and stock
- Stock boxes are made to order from the sheets we keep. Some sizes are on the shelf, TV boxes never are, and we do not use live shelf counts online. If we have to make yours, allow 5 to 7 working days, and we email you the completion date before running the machines.
- Made to the internal dimensions you type. Cardboard naturally expands and contracts with humidity, so a variance of a couple of millimetres either way is standard trade tolerance, not a manufacturing fault.
- Custom boxes are made to the internal sizes you give us, and cannot be returned because the sizes were wrong.
- Your dimensions are your call. We do not check whether your items fit inside the box. Wrap your products, measure the packed dimensions, and enter those figures. If you buy a sample first, check the fit and confirm the sizes again before the run. We take no responsibility for sizing on any custom run.
- Made to order. Once a custom run is cut, we cannot accept returns or change-of-mind refunds. Any manufacturing mistake on our end will be remade promptly or refunded in full.
- Quantity. Short runs are supplied to the exact count. Production runs may finish up to ten per cent over or under due to machine setup, and you are invoiced only for the exact quantity delivered.
- Board. Boxes are made from the grade you select in natural brown kraft. Board colour varies naturally across paper mill batches.
- When the calculator adjusts an input If the tool rotates a folder, suggests a better style, or moves you to a production grade minimum, it flags this clearly before payment. The specifications shown at checkout are what we manufacture.
- Transit is on the courier. We guarantee your box is cut to your specified dimensions. We do not insure contents, cover damage in transit, or guarantee courier transit times. Free factory collection from Dandenong South is always available.
- Prices are in Australian dollars, include GST, and are valid for the day calculated. GST is shown separately on your invoice.
Printing
- This is entry-level digital print. Your code, name, or logo printed straight onto the board in full colour CMYK, with no print plates and no setup charges. This is the most affordable way to brand short runs. Keep artwork compact, which is what the system is calibrated and priced for.
- There is no white ink. Digital print lays ink onto the board, and white is not an ink we can lay. Anything white in your artwork comes out as the board itself, so a white background behind your logo simply disappears. If you want white on your box, choose the white board (1BDW) and we print onto that.
- Some variation is normal across a print run. Corrugated board is never completely flat. It flexes and reacts to ambient moisture while the print heads pass millimetres above the surface. Expect light banding, soft edges, or slight colour fade on some cartons, particularly on larger sheets. This is standard for direct digital printing on raw board, not a defect, which is why we cap maximum print areas. Ink printed on brown kraft also appears darker than on a backlit screen, with no Pantone matching or colour guarantees.
- The box comes first. This is industrial transit packaging designed to protect goods and be recycled. The print is there for simple branding and identification. If a warped board risks striking our print heads, we will ease the print density or run the box plain, and notify you before dispatch.
- Fonts. All text in your artwork file must be converted to outlines. If fonts are not outlined and we do not hold the licence, we will substitute our plain house font, which you accept by completing your order. If a specific typeface is required, you must provide a compatible file we can open in Adobe Illustrator. We do not purchase commercial fonts for individual jobs.
- Your artwork is printed as supplied. Vector files only: SVG, PDF, AI or EPS. We do not redraw, clean up, or alter customer artwork. Low-resolution or poorly prepared files will print poorly. We reserve the right to decline files that will not run cleanly on our equipment.
- Print position. The preview shows where you put it. We register print by hand and eye on the machine, so the print can shift up to 5 mm from that spot, and a little differently from sheet to sheet.
- The online 3D render is a visual guide, not a proof. A physical printed sample is your only true proof. Order a single sample box first if exact finish matters. If you proceed directly to a full run, you accept the print as produced.
- Rights. You confirm you own or are licensed to print the supplied artwork, and indemnify us against any third-party copyright claims.
